Transfer Molding

The transfer molding process uses a pre-weighed material slab, loaded into a chamber in the mold. When the mold is closed in the press, the uncured rubber is forced from the chamber through a feed system into the mold cavities. The heat, pressure and time cure the rubber to form the parts. This process is conducive to intricate parts and molding rubber to various metal substrates.
