A critical first step for us is to learn everything possible about your product or component's physical needs and the environment that it will be in. Determining where and how the product/component will be used has a significant impact on the material and rubber chemistry we select. Our expertise with polymers, fillers, oils and curing systems then allows us to achieve market and product objectives within the constraints of the application environment. Hiawatha’s in-house chemist will work with our suppliers to formulate the best compound for your product, along with communicating with the customer to ensure all parties are in sync with the formulation. Our chemist also allows for the capability of rapid prototyping and testing to provide immediate feedback on the performance of the rubber compound and if any modifications should be made.
